Job Overview	Our distribution center in Tempe, Arizona has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate.  This position will assist in all warehouse functions, including receiving, order fulfillment and outbound shipping.  This includes reading customer orders, shipping orders or requisitions, and accurately picking merchandise for shipment.  This role will also support the shipment of goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
Primary Responsibiltities	·         Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas. ·         Pick and pack customer orders as directed by the customer order, shipping order or requisition. ·         Scan orders via RF/Barcode system. ·         Verify orders for accuracy. ·         Process orders through UPS online service or other approved carriers. ·         Operate lift truck or like machinery to move merchandise within the warehouse and onto trucks. ·         Load materials into trailers and install strapping, bracing, etc. to prevent shifting or damage of product in transit.
Skills Required	·         Basic computer skills ·         Experience with material handling equipment preferred (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) ·         Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. ·         The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals. ·         The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Education	·         HS Diploma or Equivalent
Experience Required	·         1+ years related experience and/or training in distribution center. ·         1+ years related experience and/or training in with UPS online service or equivalent; knowledge of shipping procedures and systems including UPS and Federal Express.
