The FR3 infant/child key has a distinctive pink, teddy-bear shaped head and a cylindrical post that is inserted into the FR3 to treat a sudden cardiac arrest victim who is under 55lb (25kg) or 8 years old. The infant/child key is supplied with a tether that can be threaded through the key and then inserted through a slot in the top of the infant/child key compartment in the upper portion of your FR3 system case, if desired. The tether is not required for using the key. With the Key in place, the FR3 automatically decreases the defibrillation therapy delivered from the adult dose to a level more appropriate for these patients and implements the configured infant/child CPR protocols.989803150031
