The Ferno EZ-Glide chair can be used as a stair chair, evacuation chair, and transport chair. Two rear tracks contact the lip of stairs, allowing them to glide over the edge of each step and eliminate the need to lift the chair and patient. This chair features an all-metal frame construction, which allows bariatric patient transport. The chair also features two 4 inch front swivel wheels and two 6 inch rear wheels with locks, a 5-position rear lift bar (from 37.5 inch to 63.5 inch), and 5-position front telescoping handles (from 5.4 inch to 19 inch).
