HeartSine has taken an innovative approach to maintenance items by incorporating the AED electrodes and batteries into one single-use cartridge called the Pad-Pak™. The advantage to the Pad-Pak is that there is only one date to monitor and only one item to replace upon expiration or after use. The Pad-Pak is suitable for use on adults and children. For children younger than eight years or weighing less than 25 kg/55 lbs, HeartSine offers the Pediatric-Pak™. The HeartSine PAD’s built-in intelligence and unique Pediatric Pad-Pak ensure the appropriate energy level is delivered for children. Each Pad-Pak/Pediatric-Pak has an industry-first four-year life, and provides 60 shocks or six hours of continuous monitoring. When battery power is down to ten shocks or less, the HeartSine samaritan PAD emits an audible beep. Two versions of the Pad-Pak are available: * Adult Pad-Pak, gray in color, for use on patients from eight years old to adults weighing more than 25 kg/55 lbs. * Pediatric-Pak, pink in color, for use on patients younger than eight years of age weighing less than 25 kg/55 lbs.

Our defib pads consist of an electroconductive gel supported by a porous-woven fabric. The pads are safe and fast handling. Their orange color makes them easy to see and they provide a highly conductive coupling medium.These self-contained pads eliminate 'gel bridging', which can cause severe skin trauma or burns. There is no gel to clean off the paddles, no residue left on the patient and no pitting or corosion of the paddles. 3M™ Defib-Pads have a success rate equivalent to lowest resistivity gels. Faster to apply than gels or creams in an emergency situation, 3M™ Defib-Pads save time when life is on the line. Medi-Trace™ Defibrillation Electrodes are value priced defibrillation electrodes that are appropriate for less clinically sensitive areas. They connect directly to your defibrillator without the use of adapters. Proprietary conductive adhesive hydrogel formula provides additional adhesion in the center of the electrode.

Preconnect disposable adult multifunction electrode pads with plug style connector for Philips HeartStart® ALS manual defibrillators. The leads-out wires and an easy to open package were designed for fast deployment of pads and reduced wire tangles. Heart Start® adult AED defibrillator pads may also be used with defibrillators from other manufacturers, using Philips Heart Start® adapters, whether defibrillators are manual or automated. The adapters allow ALS caregivers to connect the pads to their manual defibrillator.
