We have VAWD accreditation from the national association of boards of pharmacy, we hold distribution licenses in all 50 states (and D.C) and are compliant with the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA).

Bound Tree’s compliance with these FDA standards help improve patient protection by preventing the distribution of substandard or ineffective drugs and while providing our customers with the product and transaction information they need to be in compliance with the FDA standards.

State & National Licensing »

All 50 states, the District of Columbia and the Federal government impose some form of licensure and registration requirement on prescription drug wholesalers seeking to distribute drug products into their territory. Under the FDA’s Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA), you are responsible for knowing that your prescription drug wholesale distributor is an authorized trading partner who holds a valid state or federal license.

Bound Tree Medical is licensed federally and in all 50 states. Purchasing from a licensed and VAWD-accredited distributor like Bound Tree will ensure you none of your purchases will ever be counterfeit, contaminated, improperly stored and transported, ineffective, and/or unsafe.

DSCSA Compliance »

Under the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA), also known as "drug tracing", all entities in the drug supply chain play a role in establishing a national system for tracing prescription drugs and must follow certain requirements that will protect against counterfeiting, contamination, adulteration and diversion. The Drug Quality and Security Act replaces all 50 state pedigree requirements with one federal traceability solution for prescription medicines and raises licensure standards across the US.

Bound Tree Medical maintains all appropriate state and federal licenses for our distribution centers and complies with all provisions under the DSCSA. As of May 1, 2015, Bound Tree has been providing paper copies of DSCSA transaction reports within each shipment containing prescription drugs.
