The Transcend™ Evacuation Chair is an emergency patient-handling device designed to assist trained operators in transporting a seated patient up or down stairs and over flat surfaces. The improved options and features allow patient loads of up to 550 pounds. The chair and track system carry the weight, increasing patient safety, and reducing operator fatigue and risk of injury. Smooth 5in swivel wheels and 8in rear wheels navigate rough terrain and the positive locking hinge mechanism ensure chair is locked in place.
