The Binder Transfer is an stretcher integrated slide sheet.
Traditional draw sheet transfers exert over 2,000 pounds of compressive force on a provider's spine. This leads to chronic pain and injury.
The Binder Transfer seamlessly integrates with Stryker and Ferno stretchers, eliminating the extra steps needed with traditional transfer aids. Simply pre-attach it to the stretcher’s frame, apply the fitted sheet, and the stretcher is ready to go. When ready, there's no need to reposition the patient – just release the buckles for a quick and easy transfer.
While secured to the stretcher, the Binder Transfer cannot move until the buckles are released. Even the heaviest of patients can be transferred with minimal effort. Plus, there’s no worry about leaving the aid behind because the inside edge remains fastened at all times.
The Binder Transfer is designed to assist emergency care providers with the physical movement and transfer of a patient from one surface to another (e.g., from a prehospital stretcher to a hospital bed). It is designed to be secured to the stretcher’s frame and remain in place under the patient until providers are ready to perform the transfer. Once ready, the providers simply need to release the buckles on the outer edge of the device and gently glide the patient over to the other surface.
