Mercury Medical Bacterial/Viral Filters feature a hydrophobic filter medium designed for use with Mercury Medical self-inflating manual resuscitators (BVMs), Flow-Safe® CPAP devices, and other appropriate medical devices. The filters have been independently tested for bacterial and viral filtration performance.

Hydrophobic Filter Medium: Helps provide effective filtration for compatible respiratory medical devices.

Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE): 99.96% effective against particles approximately 3.1 microns in size.

Viral Filtration Efficiency (VFE): 99.81% effective against particles approximately 3.3 microns in size.

Low Resistance to Flow: 0.0093 cm H₂O at a flow rate of 8.0 LPM.
