The Autonomous Portable Refrigeration Unit (APRU) is an FDA listed device that provides constant cooling of blood products, vaccines, lab samples and temperature-controlled medications in military operations, disaster relief response, and EMS using a standard Military Battery (95-hour run-time).

The APRU has intuitive on-screen controls and records stored temperature up to 72 days. Heating and cooling capability ensures stable temperature in all austere conditions. The APRU’s capacity holds six (6) 500 ml bags of whole blood and is both waterproof and dustproof. Additionally, the APRU is designed for the critical demands of blood storage and transport and is compliant with blood bank requirements and supports prehospital emergency providers, hospitals, and blood centers that adhere to these requirements. Basic Software (Bluetooth) included. Remote Accountability, Cellular Plan can be added for an additional fee. The Delta Gateway device is required if planning to use the Cellular Plan.
